The K(-)d -> pi Sigma n reaction revisited

The appearance of some papers dealing with the K(-)d -> pi Sigma n reaction, with some discrepancies in the results and a proposal to measure the reaction at forward n angles at J-PARC justifies to retake the theoretical study of this reaction. We do this in the present paper showing results using the Watson approach and the truncated Faddeev approach. We argue that the Watson approach is more suitable to study the reaction because it takes into account the potential energy of the nucleons forming the deuteron, which is neglected in the truncated Faddeev approach. The paper shows the strength and limitations of both approaches and we perform calculations using four different approximations.…

Testing the molecular nature of $\bm{D_{s 0}^{\ast}(2317)}$ and $\bm{D_{0}^{\ast} (2400)}$ in semileptonic $\bm{B_s}$ and $\bm{B}$ decays

We study the semileptonic $B_s$ and $B$ decays into the $D_{s 0}^{\ast} (2317)$ and $D_{0}^{\ast} (2400)$ resonances, respectively. With the help of a chiral unitarity model in coupled channels we compute the ratio of the decay widths of both processes. Using current values of the width for the $\bar{B}^{0} \to D_{0}^{\ast} (2400)^{+} \bar{\nu}_{l} l^{-}$ decay we make predictions for the rate of the $\bar{B}_{s}^{0} \to D_{s0}^{\ast} (2317)^{+} \bar{\nu}_{l} l^{-}$ decay.

A new perspective on the Faddeev equations and the (K)over-bar N N system from chiral dynamics and unitarity in coupled channels

We review recent work concerning the K¯N interaction and Faddeev equations with chiral dynamics which allow us to look at the K¯NN from a different perspective and pay attention to problems that have been posed in previous studies on the subject. We show results which provide extra experimental evidence on the existence of two Λ(1405) states. We then show the findings of a recent approach to Faddeev equations using chiral unitary dynamics, where an explicit cancellation of the two body off shell amplitude with three body forces stemming from the same chiral Lagrangians takes place. This removal of the unphysical off shell part of the amplitudes is most welcome and renders the approach unamb…

Testing the molecular nature of D-s0*(2317) and D-0*(2400) in semileptonic B-s and B decays

We study the semileptonic B-s and B decays into the D-s0*(2317) and D-0*(2400) resonances, respectively. With the help of a chiral unitarity model in coupled channels we compute the ratio of the decay widths of both processes. Using current values of the width for the (B) over bar (0) -> D-0*(2400)(+)(v) over bar (l)l(-) we make predictions for the rate of the (B) over bar (0)(s) -> D-s0*(2317)(+)(v) over bar (l)l(-) decay and for the DK invariant mass distribution in the (B) over bar (0)(s) -> DK (v) over bar (l)l(-) decay.
