Masteroppgave samfunnskommunikasjon KOM500 - Universitetet i Agder 2017 As of 01.01.2020, there will (most likely) be a slight rearrangement in the Norwegian counties. The two current counties Aust-Agder and Vest-Agder will be combined as one new county. This thesis project discusses the debate in the local and regional papers that have been concerning which name will be best suited for a new county. The debate has mostly discussed the two names Sørlandet and Agder, and both sides of the debate have been active in the newspapers.
