International audience; Chalcogenide materials exhibit a unique portfolio of properties which has led to their wide use for nonvolatile memory applications such as optical storage (CD-RW and DVD-RAM), Conductive Bridging Random Access Memory or Phase Change Random Access Memory (PCRAM).
