Research on Socialization Problems among Hearing-Impaired Children at Special Primary School Establishment

Abstract The article researches the issue of family and the educational institution influence on socialization of children with special needs. Note that hearing plays a very important role in the language learning process, but reading for hearing impaired children is a kind of “compensatory mechanism”. Interrelation of Latvia's state institutions and NGOs with families and schools with children with special needs are researched within the article as well as identified and analyzed the LR legislation, relating to the mentioned social problems.
