Metàfora i fraseologia en el discurs costumista: Santiago Rusiñol i Marià Vayreda
Catalan costumisme (literary genre of local customs and manners) is an attempt, historically delimited, to understand life and its agents from ancient, archetypal patterns. Phraseology and metaphors exemplify the literary manisfestations of costumisme. In this framework, novels by Rusiñol and Vayreda are studied.

This article supports the importance of the relationship between verbal and visual codes in the analysis of specific sequences in the “scenic poetry” works by Joan Brossa. Thus, it evaluates examples of particular texts that reveal the multiplicity of theatrical registers and techniques, with regard to the procedures of character- or situation- building and the breaking of the communicative conventions.
La poètica de Carles Salvador i la Generació de 1930
Meseguer situates Carles Salvador within the literary trends of his contemporaries. He deals with Salvador's implicit and explicit ideological influences, focusing on the poetics of various texts: El jazz, el maquinisme i la poesia pura (1928), Colps d'escut i de sageta (1929), Significado de Avantguardisme, his declaration in La poesia valenciana en 1930, and his unpublished paper El meu concepte de la poesia.

The Nova Cançó has not only been an important linguistic and civil phenomenon in Catalan life in the latest decades. It has also been a literary phenomenon that deserves to be analysed, taking into account both the lyrics of the important authors and the great variety and quantity of poems that, with music, became songs.
