This report describes the syntheses, characterization, crystal structures and magnetic properties of five dinuclear FeIIINiII compounds derived from two Robson-type tetraiminodiphenol macrocyclic ligands H2L1 and H2L2, which are the [2+2] condensation products of 4-ethyl-2,6-diformylphenol and 1,3-diaminopropane (for H2L1) or 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-diaminopropane (for H2L2).
