Pro gradu- tutkimukseni tarkoituksena on ymmärtää ja kuvata nuorten, joilla on CP- vamma, kokemuksia pitkäaikaisesta fysioterapiasta fenomenologis- hermeneuttisen tutkimusasetelman kautta. Tutkimus liittyy laajempaan Jyväskylän yliopiston koordinoimaan Potilasohjaus fysioterapiassa – projektiin ja sillä on tutkimuslupa HUS:n eettiseltä toimikunnalta. Tutkimukseen osallistui 10 nuorta, joilla on ollut fysioterapiaa pienestä lapsesta lähtien, 16-22 -vuotta. Aineisto kerättiin avoimien yksilöllisten haastattelujen avulla ja analysoitiin Spiegelbergin (1982) ja Laineen (2010) aineistoanalyysimenetelmän kautta.
