Sobre la presencia de Centaurea sphaerocephala L. (sect. Seridia (Juss.) DC., Compositae) en la Comunidad Valenciana (España)

La presencia de Centaurea sphaerocephala L. (Sect. Seridia, Compositae) en la Comunidad Valenciana (España) ha sido recientemente indicada a partir de la identificación de material de herbario procedente del término de Burriana (Castellón). En la presente comunicación se concluye que esta especie no está presente en el territorio valenciano ya que el material de herbario sobre el que se basa dicha identificación corresponde a C. ×maritima nothosubsp. borrianensis.

A new nothotaxon is desribed: Sideritis × currasii, found on a sheet in the José Borja Carbonell?s herbarium at VAL, which has been identified as a result of the crossing between S. hirsuta L. and S. javalambrensis Pau. A complete description and comparative iconography are provided.

Four new combinations in the genus Salvia L. (Labiatae) are proposed: Salvia rosmarinus subsp. palaui, S. rosmarinus subsp. valentina, S. ×lavandulacea (= S. jordanii × S. rosmarinus) and S. ×mendizabalii (= S. granatensis × S. rosmarinus).

Se describe una nueva especie para el género Teucrium L. [Sect. Polium (Mill.) Schreb., Lamiaceae], T. muletii sp. nov., hallada en el litoral de la provincia de Castellón (España) dentro del Parque Natural del Desert de les Palmes. Some taxonomical notes about the hybridacion between T. angustissimum y T. capitatum s.l. (sect. Polium, Labiatae) are reported. A new nothosubspecies, Teucrium ×coeleste nothosubsp. schreberi is described coming from the hybridization between T. angustissimum and T. capitatum subsp. gracillimum. Se describe una nueva nothoespecie de Sideritis L. (Labiatae), Sideritis ×tobarrensis (= Sideritis bourgaeana Boissier & Reuter × S. incana L.), procedente de Tobarra (Albacete, España). Se presenta una descripción morfoló-gica y los principales caracteres diagnósticos del nuevo híbrido frente a sus progenitores. A new nothospecies of Sideritis L. We propose the division of this taxon in four subspecies (subsp. fruticulosa, subsp. cavanillesii, subsp. ferreriana, and subsp. tarraconensis), one of which (subsp. ferreriana) is described in this paper.
