Masteroppgave samfunnskommunikasjon- Universitetet i Agder, 2015 Denne oppgaven handler om ulike oppfatninger av kulturbegrepet i forbindelse med Kristiansand Kommunes oppfølging av Kulturaksen. Kulturaksen er en kulturbasert klyngestrategi for et byområde som ligger i hjertet av Kristiansand sentrum. Området huser en variasjon av virksomheter og aktiviteter som inngår i en rekke mindre klynger langs den 1 km. lange strekningen. Formålet med oppgaven er å belyse hvordan meningsforskjeller om kultur, blant aktørene, kan få konsekvenser for kommunens oppfølgingsprosess. Studien er todelt. This thesis details a discourse analysis of the discourse on sustainable urban development, amongst participants of a co-creative arena called Southern City Network. For over four years, participants of this arena have attempted to arrive at a joint commitment on how sustainable urban development should be understood and acted on within the arena. I propose that this inertia can be explored by investigating how sustainable urban development is enacted in discourse, while paying close attention to the affective dimension of language-use.
