Title effect of multicomponent cognitive behavioral therapy in a sample of chronic insomniacs in hypnotic treatment

Introduction The objective of this study is to analyze the improvements in sleep and quality of life, as well as to evaluate the decrease or cessation of drug treatment in a sample of insomniacs in hypnotic drug treatment after CBT-I application. Materials and methods This is a pre-post quasi-experimental design, with a monitoring performed 6 months later in which information of an Experimental Group (EG  = 17) is given and evaluated during three times, and also a Control Group (CG  = 44), with measures only at the pre- post.
