Master's thesis in Civil and structural engineering (BYG508) Interaction between steel and concrete, and its effect on moment capacity and flexural stiffness was investigated through the subject BYG507 - Preliminary Project to the Masters Thesis. As a continuation of the preliminary project, this report aims to establish an increased understanding of composite structures, with regards to capacity, modelling and current use. Based on regulations given in Eurocode 4, both pre-accepted and non-pre-accepted composite solutions are considered.
