Les insultes dans les bandes dessinées et les romans graphiques et leurs traductions
We observe insult as a linguistic form (Dérive and Dérive 2004; Laforest and Vincent 2004; Lagorgette and Larrivée 2004) within a deliberately heterogeneous, chronologically and genre-wise, corpus of comics and GR. Since this category of literature tends to reproduce a semblance of oral and informal language, our study will also observe insult and swearing as forms of social interaction (Ernotte and Rosier 2004) in the context of all degrees of offense and rudeness expressed in comics and GR from the 1930s to the present; from the weakest (Tintin, Picsou, Almanacco Topolino) to the strongest (De Plomb et de sang by Seif Eddine Nechi; La guerre des tranchées by Jacques Tardi; Peppino Impasta…
