The war that during 1429 and 1430 put face to face the Crowns of Castilla and Aragon, makes a maravellous experimental ground for investigators. Though perfectly well-documented, this fact has been paradoxically negliged because of its lack of political impact. If we follow punctually the events, it is nevertheless possible to prepare a valuable comparative analysis of the characteristics and capa­cities of the societies in conflict.
