Estudio de 124 vástagos femorales de Wagner en cirugía de revisión de la cadera
Se presenta una serie de 124 prótesis de cadera tipo Wagner implantadas entre 1990-1997. Se analiza un grupo de 81 prótesis con un seguimiento mínimo de dos años. Se describe la técnica quirúrgica y se analizan las complicaciones intra y postoperatorias. El resultado hallado indica que se trata de una prótesis versátil en los casos en que existe un gran deterioro de la metáfisis femoral, y que la vía transfemoral constituye una buena técnica tanto para la extracción de la prótesis primaria y el cemento como para la regeneración ósea.
