In der Luftfahrt ist die Anwendung der Simulation zur Ausbildung seit langem verbreitet. Die Vorteile des preiswerten, ungefahrlichen und gezielten Trainings liegen dort auf der Hand, konnen jedoch auch auf die Anwendung in der Medizin ubertragen werden.Mit Hilfe von Full Scale Simulatoren werden am Modell (patho)physiologische Reaktionen des kunstlichen Patienten dargestellt, sodass nicht nur arztliche Grundtechniken wie die Reanimation oder Intubation sondern insbesondere auch das Teamwork trainiert werden konnen.Das ursprunglich auf dem Gebiet der Anasthesie entwickelte Simulatortraining verbreitet sich nun zunehmend auf verwandte Gebiete wie die Intensiv- und Notfallmedizin. Ventilation workshop - a new concept
The use of simulator technology to practise crisis resource management or to train standardised procedures in anaesthesia is a proved concept, although its setup in clinical practice is still in progress. To get a better understanding of the complex pathophysiological and clinical relations in the pulmonary system and the kind of alterations that could be induced by changing the ventilation of an intensive care unit patient, we modified the current concept.
