The open olympiads of home economics and technologies encourage pupils of grades 5-9 to be creative in applying textile techniques. They also popularize textile art. Purpose of the study is to analyse the results of pupils’ creative work during the 10th open olympiad of home economics and technologies. The creative activity of lecturers teaching textile course of studies is an essential aspect of professional competence development, which acquires a special meaning in context of lifelong learning.
