INTRODUZIONE

This volume is an anthology of scientific papers and essays from different national academic institutions on the regeneration of degraded environments and the tools of participation aimed at building a sustainable project. Papers were presented in September 2020 in a cycle of study seminars entitled 'Transformation, Regeneration and Participation' organised by the University of Palermo, in the International Conference 'Scenarios of Abusive Housing' and in the Round Table 'Designing Participation', in International seminary ‘ATS Architectural Technology and Sustainability.
