Ranibizumab in patients with neovascular age-related macular degeneration in real-world clinical settings in France: 1-year data from the LUMINOUS (TM) study
Purpose : LUMINOUS™ (NCT01318941; initiated March 2011) is the largest, prospective, observational, global study in the field of medical retina. LUMINOUS™ is an ongoing 5-year study that is designed to evaluate the long-term safety, effectiveness, treatment patterns, and health-related quality of life associated with ranibizumab (RBZ) 0.5 mg treatment across all approved indications in 30,000 patients from routine clinical practice. Endophthalmitis after intravitreal injections: incidence, presentation, management, and visual outcome
Purpose To report the incidence and characteristics of endophthalmitis after intravitreal injections of anti–vascular endothelial growth factor agents or corticosteroids and to describe the clinical and bacteriologic characteristics, management, and outcome of these eyes with acute endophthalmitis in France.
