Master's thesis in Health informatics (HSI500) Background -VAR Healthcare (VAR) provides up to date clinical procedures, which means that the users won't have to develop these themselves. VAR has become a big player in Norway and provides its services to health trusts, municipal health services and educational institutions. There has been previous attempts to develop a national database for clinical procedures by the government, but this project was set on hold in 2018.
