Master's thesis in Political science and management (ME502) Kristiansand municipality has decided to implement a purposeful strategy for equality, diversity and inclusion in its public sector. Working towards this goal has been a political decision, however; decisions do not matter if they are not implemented properly. Therefore the topic of this thesis has been to research how leaders with hiring responsibilities in the public sector of the municipality are approaching the challenge.
