Master's Thesis Civil and Constructional Engineering BYG508 - University of Agder 2018 This Master thesis is about analysis of Ultra-high performance fibre reinforced concrete (UHPFRC) beams with the help of the Finite Element Analysis software ANSYS. The research question and the operational questions are: How can we analyse UHPFRC beams with the help of ANSYS? How does the built in concrete material model in ANSYS work? How can the concrete material model in ANSYS simulate behaviour of UHPFRC beams? The approach used to answer the questions is based on the hypothetico-deductive method.
