In the Valencian Seigniories of the House of Medinaceli, the expulsion of the Moorish had its negative effects, but not catastrophic. The emphiteutic establishments of the properties that belongs to the Moorish originated rural communities quite homogeneous, thought gradually their internal differentiation was increased. Until the middle of XVIIIth century they were constituting typical examples of agrarian societies with a scarce degree of social mobility.
