Metabolic Syndrome and Vitamin D Levels in Patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome
Numerous studies have indicated that obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS), may contribute to the development of metabolic syndrome (MetS) and diabetes. Moreover, OSAS has been associated with lowered vitamin D (Vit D) levels, but reports are inconclusive.
