Spam classification for online discussions
Masteroppgave i informasjons- og kommunikasjonsteknologi 2010 – Universitetet i Agder, Grimstad Traditionally, spam messages filtering systems are built by integrating content-based analysis technologies which are developed from the experiences of dealing with E-mail spam. Recently, the new style of information appears in the Internet, Social Media platform, which also expands the space for Internet abusers. In this thesis, we not only evaluated the traditional content-based approaches to classify spam messages, we also investigated the possibility of integrating context-based technology with con-tent-based approaches to classify spam messages. We built spam classifiers using Novelty de-tec…
Distributed Adaptive Consensus Tracking Control of Uncertain High-order Nonlinear Systems under Directed Graph Condition
In this paper, we investigate the output consensus tracking problem for a class of high-order nonlinear systems subjected to unknown parameters and uncertain external disturbances. A novel backstepping based distributed adaptive control scheme is presented under the directed communication status. For the subsystems without direct access to time-varying desired trajectory, local estimators are introduced and the corresponding adaptive laws are designed in a totally distributed fashion. With the presented scheme, the assumption on linearly parameterized reference signal and the information exchange operation of subsystem inputs in the existing results are no longer needed. It is shown that al…
Synthesis, biological evaluation, and structure-activity relationship study of novel cytotoxic aza-caffeic acid derivatives.
Abstract Three series of aza-caffeic acid derivatives with different linkers were designed and synthesized. Each of the synthesized derivatives was then used in cytotoxicity screening on either 8 or 12 human cancer cell lines. The structure–activity relationships on three structural regions A, B, and C are analyzed in detail, indicating that a nine bond linker B, containing a piperazine unit, is the most favorable linker leading to the generation of molecules with potent cytotoxicities. Compound ( E )-1-(4-(3,4-dichlorobenzyl)piperazin-1-yl)-3-(4-(4-ethoxybenzyloxy)-3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)prop-2-en-1-one ( 80 ) exhibited the most significant and selective cytotoxicity to KB, BEL7404, K562, and…
