Measurement of inflammatory mediators of mast cells and eosinophils in native nasal lavage fluid in nasal polyposis.

<i>Background:</i> Nasal polyposis (NP) often coexists with asthma, rhinitis and sinusitis. Polyp histology typically shows chronic, eosinophilic inflammation.
