Mobility studies take into account that housing tenure has a high influencethrough transaction costs. If benefit of change is greater than costs, the household willchange their dwelling, if not the household stays even though their consumption is notthe optimum. Our aim is to analyse the behaviour of Spanish households that facemobility and tenure decisions, taking into account that they are endogenous given theclose relation between both: the tenure selected depends on the future decisionregarding mobility and expected future mobility depends on the present decision abouttenure.
