Los compuestos de los ditirambos de Baquílides y su relativa originalidad

The lexical variety in Bacchylides? dithyrambs has often been considered as evidence of his aim of innovation. This variety also makes of him a precursor of the New Dithyramb. A study of his compounds allows us to realise that there are not as many ???? ???????? as epithets shared with contemporary lyric poetry and Attic drama. Besides, these compounds usually appear in similar contexts, which confirms the continuity of Bacchylides? dithyrambs with that poetic tradition.
