Nine weeks versus 1 year adjuvant trastuzumab in combination with chemotherapy: final results of the phase III randomized Short-HER study

Background: Chemotherapy plus 1-year trastuzumab is the standard adjuvant treatment of HER2-positive breast cancer. The efficacy of less extended trastuzumab exposure is under investigation. The short-HER study was aimed to assess the non-inferiority of 9 weeks versus 1 year of adjuvant trastuzumab combined with chemotherapy. EFFICACY OF ZOLEDRONIC ACID IN PATIENTS WITH COLORECTAL CANCER METASTATIC TO BONE

Introduction. Bone metastases are an emerging clinical problem in colorectal cancer patients probably related to survival increase. There are no data in literature about the role of BPs in the treatment of bone disease from colorectal cancer. We present the final data of a large Italian multicenter retrospective analysis. Methods. 264 colorectal cancer patients with occurrence of bone metastases have been included in the study. All patients were dead due to cancer at the moment of the study inclusion.
