L’effet des pots acoustiques du caveau phonocamptique de la cathédrale de Noyon : analyse modale et performance chantée

International audience; Au CFA de 2014 nous présentions le caveau phonocamptique de la Cathédrale de Noyon qui comporte, dans un espace souterrain réduit (15 m²), un nombre important de pots acoustiques (64). L’étude des livres liturgiques et de la documentation de la cathédrale (XVe-XVIIe siècles) ne permet pas à ce jour d’identifier le rôle et l’usage de ce caveau. Pourtant, les études archéologiques et acoustiques que nous avions présentées en 2014 montraient le soin qu’avaient pris les bâtisseurs pour élaborer cet espace : deux modèles de pots de hauteurs différentes, correspondant à deux fréquences moyennes proches d’une quarte musicale, une répartition choisie dans l’espace et un trav…
