The increase in the numbers of women fearing childbirth and requesting cesarean sections call for new forms of antenatal treatment.Finnish nulliparous women experiencing severe fear of childbirth (experimental group, n = 102) attended 5 group sessions with a psychologist, once together with a midwife, during the third trimester.
