Master's thesis in Global Development and Planning (UT506) This thesis is about citizen participation in planning processes, with an approach that seeks to examine who does not participate and why they do not. The ongoing district initiative in Storhaug district is used as a case for the project. The aim is thus to map the causes for non-participation amongst citizens in Storhaug district in the period between 2014-2020, and explore how this might bring about challenges for planning processes.
