Optical properties of nanocrystalline-coatedY2O3:Er3+, Yb3+ obtained by mechano-chemical and combustion synthesis.
International audience; Y2O3:Er3+, Yb3+ nanocrystals have been obtained by ball milling and using a combustion synthesis procedure. In both cases the nanocrystals have been successfully coated with SiO2 following the Stöber method. The average size of the as-synthesized nanoparticles has been estimated from X-ray diffraction patterns and transmission electron microscopy images. The dependence of the optical properties of these samples on synthesis procedure or dopant concentration has been investigated. Emission, excitation and lifetime measurements have been carried out. DIETA DEL DELFÍN DE RISSO (GRAMPUS GRISEUS) EN EL MEDITERRÁNEO OCCIDENTAL. – Se ha analizado el contenido gastrointestinal de quince ejemplares de Grampus griseus varados en el Mediterráneo occidental entre 40º25’N 00º32’W y 37º35’N 00º45’E durante el período 1987 a 2003. Los resultados indican una dieta teutófaga, basada principalmente en cefalópodos oceánicos destacando los octópodos pelágicos, especialmente Argonauta argo, como la presa más abundante (media = 41,28%; SD±34,32). Algunas especies pertenecientes a las familias mmastrephidae, Histioteuthidae y Onychoteuthidae son también componentes frecuentes de la misma. Currently, two types of allergen immunotherapy (AIT) are used in clinical practice: subcutaneous and sublingual immunotherapy, both accepted as key components of the therapeutic repertoire for allergic rhinitis and conjunctivitis. Monitoring pH and electric conductivity in an EBPR sequencing batch reactor
This paper presents laboratory-scale experimentation carried out to study enhanced biological phosphorus removal. Two anaerobic aerobic (A/O) sequencing batch reactors (SBR) have been operated during more than one year to investigate the information provided by monitoring pH and electric conductivity under stationary and transient conditions. Continuous measurements of these parameters allow detecting the end of anaerobic phosphorus release, of aerobic phosphorus uptake and of initial denitrification, as well as incomplete acetic acid uptake.
