INFLUENCE OF RECOMBINANT PRO-UROKINASE ON THE HEMOSTATIC SYSTEM IN PATIENTS WITH ACUTE MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION

Recombinant unglycosylated pro-urokinase (recombinant single chain urokinase-type plasminogen activator, CG4509) was given to twelve patients (pts.) with acute myocardial infarction as a 20 mg bolus followed by a 60 mg intravenous infusion (iv.inf.) over 1 hour and to twelve pts. as a 10 mg bolus followed by a 30 mg iv.inf. over 1 hour. Reperfusion was angiographically confirmed in 9/12 pts. with the higher dose and in 6/12 pts. who obtained the lower dose.
