Abstract Introduction Although the therapeutic armamentarium against multiple myeloma has tremendously increased in recent years, it still remains an incurable disease. A highly promising novel anti-tumoral treatment strategy is to target specific non-redundant metabolic achilles heels of individual cancer entities.
