UL Centre "Confucius Institute

The Centre is a basic unit of the University of Latvia (hereinafter referred to as “UL”), established on the initiative of the UL and HANBAN, on the basis of the Agreement about establishing a “Confucius Institute” in the UL and a cooperation agreement with South China Normal University (SCNU), in order to develop cooperation between the People's Republic of China (PRC) and Latvian universities. The Centre aims to promote cooperation in the fields of education, science and culture between UL and SCNU, to attract projects. The Centre unites and links these projects and offers them a single location, shared infrastructure and extensive publicity.
