Master's thesis in Primary teacher education level 1-7 (NO502) Most children in elementary school writes texts multiple times a year. A lot of them are good at writing stories, but many finds it harder to writetexts where they have to use rhetoric and reason and debate to the reader. A lot of the pupils are good at reason and come up with good arguments when they talk, but it is harder when they have to write it down. The purpose of this text was to find characteristic features in an argumentative text written by students. This study is based on text from Normprosjektet.
