Le curatrici presentano il volume, il cui focus è costituito dall'indagine sulla natura filosofica dell'annuncio, esibendo come avvio al discorso il dipinto di Antonello da Messina "Annunciata". The issue 2/2015 of Giornale di Metafisica collects essays on the topic "The Announcement" in order to investigate this phenomenon from different points of view (metaphysical, phenomenological, hermeneutical, aesthetical, theological), departing from Jean-Luc Nancy's and Richard Kearney's readings of Antonello da Messina's painting "L'Annunciata".
