The Human Mind and Its Complexitydescription
The LEAD is a cognitive psychology laboratory that studies the modifications of information processing processes following learning (implicit, didactic and professional) and development. The theoretical originality of the unit is to defend a parsimonious approach to cognition that differs from the dominant theoretical models. Basic research is complemented by research with direct implications in the field of health, and to a lesser extent, education and business. An increasing place is given to interdisciplinary studies. LEAD studies the mental activities that regulate our behavioural interactions with the environment. The development of these mental activities as well as their dysfunctions constitute the privileged aspects of our approaches. The LEAD is part of the Federative Institute for Research on New Health Technologies
