The article addresses the problem of radicalization of young people that has been the process observed in most European countries, including Poland, for several years. The author refers to the activilies of RAN (the Radicalisation Awareness Network), created by European Commission and gathering practitioncrs, academics, NGOs, social workers and all institutions engaged in preventing radicalisation. Based on her experiences from participation in two conferences of RAN educational working group (Empowering and supporting teachers in Goteborg and The school needs partners in Madrid) the author presents examples of both scientific research and best practices referring to combating youth radicalisation. Special focus in the article is given to the method worked out at Univcrsity of Cambridge relaled to lntegrative Complexity (IC). The two practices described in the text and realised in Grcat Britain are: I SEE! Scotland and Being Muslim Being British. Both theoretical approaches and practices are presented in the article with the view o f their transferability into the Polish ground.
