The presented chapter describes experience of working with students on the MS Teams platform. There is described the outbreak of the epidemic in which all participants of the educational process found themselves as a complete novelty, which forced everyone to seek a way out of the impasse and find themselves in a different educational reality. Then, there is presented the specificity of particular classes conducted on the MS Teams platform, indicating the methods of work which were used, adjusting them to the capabilities, interests, level of language proficiency, and even the size of particular groups. In the next subchapter there are discussed the benefits and risks of online teaching, which enters the sphere of private life, often without our participation, on the one hand bridging the social distance and at the same time isolating and depriving of proximity. The last part of the paper is the conclusion, which deals with working online using the MS Teams platform after the pandemic has passed, where is presented the idea of changing the approach to working in a stationary form, in which the direct presence and contact with students will be valued more. On the other hand, the platform will allow a teacher to keep in touch with the group also outside the scheduled hours and will be a great complement and enrichment of the traditional classes.
