La cada vez mayor evidencia de la existencia de mitos de origen paleolítico constituye un indirecto apoyo a los postulados del denominado Paradigma de la Continuidad Paleolítica, el cual aboga por un origen paleolítico para el conjunto lingüístico indoeuropeo y también para todos o la mayoría de los otros grandes conjuntos lingüísticos del mundo. The increasing evidence of myths with a Paleolithic origin represents an indirect support for the main claims of the so–called Paleolithic Continuity Paradigm, since it assumes a Paleolithic origin for the whole Indo–European linguistic group and, furthermore, for all or most of the other major linguistic groups of the world.
