Este artículo aborda la trayectoria de la compañía AlmaViva Teatro y su trabajo con la puesta en escena del teatro aurisecular. Estos montajes están basados no solo en la reivindicación de la actualidad del propio texto o el mensaje de compromiso social que pueda transmitir al espectador del siglo xxi con respecto a su propio contexto, sino también en la apuesta por espacios escénicos no convencionales que resignifican el texto y lo conectan aún más con la concepción colectiva del Teatro. This article presents AlmaViva Teatro’s career and their work with Spanish classics of the Golden Age. The stagings are based not only on the recognition of texts’ novelty or the social engagement that these can transmit to xxist century spectators in relation with his own context but also on the use of non-conventional theatrical spaces which redefine the play and conect it even more with the colective conception of Theatre.
