Italian Abstract: Trentadue documenti, in gran parte inediti, riguardanti Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto (Messina), comune di recente fondazione (1835) con un vastissimo territorio oggetto di stratificazioni storiche millenarie, dapprima strettamente connesse al vasto contesto della piana di Milazzo, e in seguito soggette all'influenza di Castroreale.English Abstract: Thirty-two documents, mostly unpublished, about Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto (Sicily, Italy), the town recently founded (1835) with a vast territory covered by layers of history thousands of years, initially closely linked to the broader context of the plain of Milazzo, and further subject to influence of Castroreale.
