The search on the protection and on the consolidation of the stones of the architecture allows to experiment new chemical products that make to believe in the first period that the problems permanence is resolved. The wise man is the account of an original search that documents the employment of the "fluosilicati" for the consolidation of the marbles of the cathedral of St. Mark in Venice. In the yard of the restauration of the church different chemical formulas are employed in preview, that subsequently (1950-1960) they will return in top in the restaurations.
