El conflicto del Yemen está cerca de cumplir 10 años. En el mismo, la ONU ha llevado a cabo una actividad constante de intervención, sin que hasta el momento ninguno de los mecanismos puestos en marcha haya conseguido su objetivo fundamental de detener el conflicto y acabar con la impunidad a la que se ve condenada su población civil. Ante la mayor crisis humanitaria acaecida en lo que va de siglo, este estudio se plantea la labor de la Organización y qué respuesta podría ser la adecuada. The conflict in Yemen is nearing its 10th year. The UN has been constantly intervening in the conflict, but so far none of the mechanisms put in place has achieved its fundamental objective of stopping the conflict and putting an end to the impunity to which its civilian population is condemned. In the face of the greatest humanitarian crisis of this century, this study considers the work of the Organization and what the appropriate response might be.
