The area widely and loudly discussed, often raised in the public discourse is the topic of human rights. This topic is not new, it was already known in antiquity. Today it acquires a specific context of a shrinking global reality. As a result of computerization and media the world has become a global village, in which the events happening in the one place can at the same time can be reported in another. On the one hand we can see the cultural diversity and on the other there is a global diffusion of symbols and values. So does globalization help or impede the adoption of the same rights as fundamental human rights? Is the universality of these rights possible? Or perhaps cultural differences are significant enough that you have to accept a diverse catalogue of human rights? What should be the foundation of the universal implementation of human rights?
