This pedagogical magazine, initially appearing under the title Biuletyn Nauczyciela Opolskiego [The Opole Teacher’s Bulletin], and from 1962 - Kwartalnik Nauczyciela Opolskiego [The Opole Teacher’s Quarterly], came out in Opole Province during the years 1958-1991. The magazine mainly dealt with issues pertaining to the history of the region and school didactics. It was established upon the initiative of the Polish Teachers’ Union. Its substantial content was divided into three sections: “Materials to use”, “School and teachers’ experience” and “Information, reports, bibliography”. The chief goal of the magazine was to bring problems of the region closer to teachers who would otherwise not know its specifics, as well as to make it easier for them to educate through presenting pedagogical experience of educators from Opole Region.
