Tema dell’articolo è la famiglia come esistenziale, cioè come costitutivo della vita umana in quanto umana, e come spazio originario e autentico di educazione morale. Più precisamente, il primo obiettivo è quello di mostrare – grazie al codice epistemologico della pedagogia fondamentale e all’antropologia fenomenologico-ermeneutica – che la struttura essenziale della persona e la struttura essenziale della famiglia si richiamano l’un l’altro. In tal modo viene messo in luce che per essenza – e non per contingenze storiche mutevoli – la famiglia e, in particolare la relazione genitoriale, è spazio proprio di educazione morale. Il secondo obiettivo è quello di indicare come la visione della responsabilità educativa materna e di quella paterna, nel loro reciprocità, possono dischiudere nuovi orizzonti al cospetto delle emergenze educative del nostro tempo, guadagnando progressivamente un significato determinato e coerente per l’espressione stessa “educazione morale”. The paper orbits around family as an existential, i.e. as constitutive of human life in its specific unfolding as human, as well as primary and genuine space of moral education. More precisely, the first objective is to show - thanks to the epistemological code of fundamental pedagogy and to the of phenomenological-hermeneutic anthropology - that the essential structure of the person and the essential structure of family refer to each other, thus highlighting that for essence - and not for changing historical circumstances - the family, and in particular the parental relationship, is proper space for moral education. The second objective is to indicate how this vision of maternal and paternal educational responsibility, in their mutual determination, can disclose new horizons in the face of educational emergencies of our time, progressively gaining a determinate and consistent meaning for the phrase "moral education" itself.
