El objetivo principal de esta investigación es describir las representaciones producidas por el periodismo y los medios informativos (prensa y redes sociales) sobre la toma y la retoma del Palacio de Justicia, con el propósito de analizar su papel en la construcción de la memoria social-colectiva del acontecimiento. Por ello, las fuentes principales en las que se basó este trabajo incluyen editoriales, columnas de opinión, noticias, reportajes, crónicas, productos multimedia y comentarios en redes sociales, que dieran cuenta del tema de la toma y retoma del Palacio de Justicia entre 1985 y 2017, con el propósito de poseer un panorama amplio del tema y así lograr identificar el proceso de construcción de memoria de la manera más rigurosa posible. El documento está estructurado de la siguiente manera: la primera parte presenta algunas reflexiones teóricas que tienen el propósito de establecer y analizar la relación entre los medios informativos y la memoria; la segunda parte explica el contexto historiográfico en el que se llevó a cabo la toma y retoma del Palacio de Justicia y realiza una reconstrucción de los hechos; la tercera parte describe los principales resultados de la investigación y define las memorias que fueron visibilizadas en la prensa; por último, concluye con una caracterización de lo que sería el término recuerdo informativo mediático y realiza una propuesta para atenuar sus efectos en la memoria social-colectiva. The main objective of this research is to describe the representations produced by journalism and the media (press and social networks) about the taking and retaking of Colombian Courthouse, with the purpose of analyzing its role on social memory construction- collective of the event. For this reason, the main sources on which this work was based on include editorials, opinion columns, news, reports, chronicles, multimedia products and comments on social networks, which give an account of the issue of the taking and retaking of the Courthouse between 1985 and 2017, in order to have a broad overview of the subject and thus be able to identify the memory construction process in the most rigorous way possible. The document is structured as follows: the first part presents some theoretical reflections that have the purpose of establishing and analyzing the relationship between the news media and memory; the second part explains the historiographical context in which the seizure and retake of the Courthouse took place and performs a reconstruction of the events; the third part describes the main results of the investigation and defines the memories that were seen in the press; Finally, it concludes with a characterization of what would be the term informative media memory and makes a proposal to attenuate its effects on social-collective memory.
