During the campaign for the European elections of 2014, the use by candidates of websites and RSN has become widespread. These communication tools are complemented the more traditional means of information and mobilization of the electorate: leaflets, posters, door to door, market presence, meetings and rallies, media planning, radio and TV spots, interviews and forums in the press… We analyze the web campaign of the candidates on the list of the 6 top candidates for the European elections of 2014 in the Eastern constituency in France; according to a descriptive approach, empirical and comparative. Then we draw a typology of situations endangering the candidates, their strategies, their image, their reputation, their identity or their speech. Whether these are the result of blunders or carelessness on the part of the candidates themselves, or diversions due to users, referred to playful, controversial or against-activist.
